Sony Reports PlayStation 3 Has Sold 56 Million Units Worldwide

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 3 has sold 56 million units worldwide. PS3 rival Xbox 360 launched a year before Sony released its next-gen and it has sold 57.3 million units to date.
