Metal Gear Solid 5 Is a Long Way From Finished

Published by:

Silent Hill 4 motion actor Eric Bossic recently finished some work for Metal Gear Solid 5 and he warned fans the game is far from finished.

“My past motion capture session was for an upcoming Metal Gear game, I will be back with Kojima again in the fall, and maybe other sessions. This title is a long way off.”

“I am working on a future metal gear, not to be released until next year summer at the earliest, if not later then that. Im doing motion capture only.”   “I can 100% say my voice will not be involved in this. I dont even know what the title is, they are all very secretive and sometimes even the scenes I act out I dont even know the full story, because they want to keep it secret.2   “I suppose it is fine to mention I am working on it, everybody knows Kojima is making something now, and I posted the photo on my page here with him. The only thing is that I cant ever answer any questions about it or talk about, not for sometime.”

Sony Wants Retailers To Push PS4

Published by:

Sony UK VP Fergal Gara said that the company will be extremely dependent on retailers to push the PlayStation 4.

Retailers will have to show strong support for the console and update their displays with the latest hardware.

“We’d love to see as many retailers as possible maintain their interest in servicing the space,” Gara said. “Clearly down the road many of us are going to be doing our best to give another injection into the market whenever the next cycle starts.”

“Coming down off that 2008 peak has been a steep ride for many and has involved fallout on many levels, not least of all retail.

“So what we’re seeing is not really a surprise, a bit of a readjustment if you like and it isn’t just happening to the specialists on the High Street. There is a bit of a reappraisal around space and the commitment from other retailers.”

PS4 To Not Come Out Until a “Significant Leap” Happens

Published by:

It doesn’t appear we will get to see the PlayStation 4 anytime soon. According to SCE chief executive Andrew House, Sony feels they have to make a “significant leap” from the PS3 before we see a PS4.

“The right time to talk about new advances in hardware is when you can demonstrate a significant leap on the current experience, and something that is going to be attractive.”

I have to take Sony’s side on this one. It would be a huge disappointment for the PlayStation 4 to be released with no major upgrade to the graphics like we saw from the PS2 to the PS3.
