This is our first impression with Playstation Move for PS3, and one thing that hit us right away within 15 minutes of gameplay was PS Move, and the controllers were a true Nintendo Wii beater. Having played the Wii since release and knowing that it is the most successful games system to combine fitness and gaming, we knew the Wii system would be hard to beat. PlayStation 3 Finally Cracked

In quite possibly the longest time it took hackers to crack anything, four years after its launch, the PlayStation 3 has finally been cracked. Best (if you’re into that sort of thing) or worst (if you’re Sony) of all, is that the crack is applied via a simple plug and play USB stick, complete with a GUI installer that doesn’t void warranties, is compatible with any region and model. 

Final Fantasy XIV Delayed On PS3 Due To Memory Issues‎

As we already know, Square Enix has delayed the PS3 version of their next MMO epic Final Fantasy XIV.  Initially due to release with the PC version on September 30th, the PS3 version has now been pushed back to a March 2011 time window. Originally, this was due to vague technical issues. Now we know the real reason for the delay. Online producer Hiromichi Tanaka has stated in a recent interview. 

PS3 goes Titanium Blue for Gran Turismo 5 bundle

Sony’s announced a Japanese release date for Gran Turismo 5 of November 3 – along with a special ‘Racing Pack’ bundle, which comes with a blue PS3. Mass Effect 2 Leaps to PlayStation 3

PS3 owners will have to pretend the original Mass Effect never happened, but if they’ve always wanted a crack at Mass Effect 2, BioWare says it’s coming to Sony’s console next January. The game, which debuted last January, had been exclusive to Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Windows PCs. BioWare confirmed plans to release Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 today at GDC Europe 2010,.

  At the ongoing Gamescom 2010 convention in Germany, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe CEO Andrew House announced two new PlayStation 3 models. These two new PlayStation 3 models comprises of 160GB HDD PS3 model for $299. Another model is the 320GB PS3 with PlayStation Move controller when it launches on Sept 19. Playstation 4 games in development says Sony

The most recent edition of Game Informer Australia magazine is claiming that Sony has told them that developers are preparing games for the currently unanounced Playstation 4.  The existence of the Playstation 4 has been predicted by many gaming-industry analysts, and is said to be releasing in 2012. This is no means a direct announcement of the new device, but it is an indication. 

NHL 11 demo headed to PS3 next week

Last year’s NHL 10 was well-received by both gamers and critics alike, and next week, people will get their first chance to play this year’s follow up.  A playable demo will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 17th; players will have a chance to experience “Hockey Ultimate Team” and “Battle For the Cup,” which will pit the Chicago Blackhawks.
