EA has begun sending invitations out for gamers to participate int he PS3 multiplayer tests fo its upcoming survival horror sequel. The Sony PlayStation 3 game console will be made 3D-capable via a firmware update, Sony has announced. The announcement was made at the Tokyo Games Show, and confirmed via a blog post on the European version of the Sony PlayStation blog. “It has just been revealed at the Tokyo Game Show SCEI SCEJ media briefing press conference that PlayStation 3 will support 3D Blu-ray 3D Disc playback.

This is our first impression with Playstation Move for PS3, and one thing that hit us right away within 15 minutes of gameplay was PS Move, and the controllers were a true Nintendo Wii beater. In quite possibly the longest time it took hackers to crack anything, four years after its launch, the PlayStation 3 has finally been cracked. Best (if you’re into that sort of thing) or worst (if you’re Sony) of all, is that the crack is applied via a simple plug and play USB stick, complete with a GUI installer that doesn’t void warranties, is compatible with any region and model. 

Final Fantasy XIV Delayed On PS3 Due To Memory Issues‎

As we already know, Square Enix has delayed the PS3 version of their next MMO epic Final Fantasy XIV.  Initially due to release with the PC version on September 30th, the PS3 version has now been pushed back to a March 2011 time window. Originally, this was due to vague technical issues. Now we know the real reason for the delay. Online producer Hiromichi Tanaka has stated in a recent interview.
