The PlayStation 4 has been predicted by many gaming-industry analysts to be revealed at E3 2013 and available in stores in 2014. EA Labels president Frank Gibeau stated in a interview that he has seen the PlayStation 4. Remedy Entertainment, the company behind Max Mayne, has started work on a PS4 game and promises the console technology is far superior to what the PlayStation 3 offers. It was confirmed when Sony Liverpool shut down in August 2012 that the company was working on two PlayStation 4 games. One game was a stealth-based title similar to Splinter Cell and the other was a new WipEout title. The WipEout game was in development for 12-18 months.
The PS4 is rumored to support 4K resolution which is four times the high definition resolution of 1080p.
Expected PlayStation 4 games are Gran Turismo 6, Grand Theft Auto V, Killzone 4, Uncharted 4, Deus Ex Human Revolution 2, Assassin’s Creed 4, Titan, and Need For Speed.
